            Cutting Edge Training, through our Director of Training, Mr. Williams, has conducted studies for law enforcement and for specific agencies dating back to 1980.  These, to date, have taken the form of:

Peace Officer Murders:  Since 1980, and continuing to the present, Mr. Williams interviewed the homicide investigators, or reviewed the investigators’ interviews, of every murder of every officer in the State of California.  These interviews serve as the basis for a statistical analysis of the causal factors leading to the murder of each officer.  As a result, a comparative analysis is conducted to determine the commonality between the murders and to make suggestions affecting the training of peace officers throughout California and the nation.
