This course provides your
officers with needed survival skills to survive every facet of a force
incident: before, during, and after. We concentrate on
principles of Safe Tactical Doctrine and recognizing "threat cues"
early enough to make a difference. The "during" portion of the
course focuses on the willingness and necessity of responding with
force to a suspect's resistance and/or assault. The after
portion of the course is about the steps necessary in proving the
officer's proper conduct. Highlighting the training are
real-life case history and videos that keep your officers' attention
while providing real-world behavior change.

provides the only Train-the-Trainer course for the SpecOps/Infantry
communities that trains your unit trainers in the basic-to-advanced knife employment
course, and qualifies them to provide individual training of our 24-hour "user's course." This is world-class
training based upon the reality of both the infantryman’s and/or the
Spec-Ops operator’s need for effectively taking the fight to the enemy
when he gets inside the muzzle of your troop's/Marine's/operator's
primary weapon. Instead of "wouldn't it be great to have"
martial arts techniques, this course emphasizes the
rapid de-animation of the enemy combatant with the skills and
abilities of the troops you command. The course is
104-hours total, with 48-hours devoted to instruction of the
instructor-candidate, and 32-hours of instructional development, with
final 24-hour phase requiring the candidate to conduct actual training
of the 24-hour version of
the user's course while being
mentored by Cutting Edge Training staff.
