Officers serving in a tactical team, whether it is a narcotics warrant
service team, or a formal SWAT team, require specialized suspect
control training that only Cutting Edge Training’s SWAT Close Defense
program can provide. Based upon the Universal Rules and Principles of
Defense©, this training program is designed to provide the
actively-armed officer (handgun, subgun, shotgun, or rifle in-hand)
with the simplest yet most effective methods of controlling a subject
during a high-risk warrant service. Subjects include the
Constitutional Limits To The Police Use Of Force In SWAT; Subject
Takedowns - Officer Armed; Team-Takedown Skills; Weapon Retention In
The Tactical Environment.
